Decent day

Today was a decent day. I'm back up to 630$, which isn't much, but at least I'm on my way. I want to get to 1000$ at least by the time school is out, which is June 20th. I don't see how I would fail at this, but let's just hope I don't.

I need about 315 more VPPs. That's 2 x 6-tabling sets a day.

Anyway, I'd like to discuss a hand I misplayed horribly today.

Anyway, this hand comes up surprisingly often in SNGs, and I made a post about this recently on this blog. I still don't know exactly what to do, but I think that:

• I should raise to 225-250 preflop, depending on the tightness/looseness of the table
  
• The pot will the be something like 600 on the flop. I can then bet 275-300. At best, I can save up to 225 chips. That would give me something like 8BB to play with, which I can easily push with the right position.
