Circle of friends

Someone mentioned this on 2+2 in one of their Pooh-bah posts (long post people make when they achieve a certain amount of posts/certain rank).

The most important thing to have when you're trying to improve your game is a group of poker buddies you surround yourself with. They will improve your game, help you deal with bad beats and bad runs. Discussing hands, strategies, metagame, and poker in general.
