THE PLAN

Now hear this.

I’m going to be finishing my last exam on June 21st. Once I do that, I’ll be free for about two months. During this time, I plan to make the most amount of money possible, treating poker as much like a job as possible, setting myself hours and a sleep schedule, while still getting in as much partying as I can (without damaging my liver).

I’m not going to set up a ‘challenge’ type thing, but I will try and maintain daily stats. I don’t want ‘10K in 10 days’ or anything Bill Ivey-style, ‘cause I probably can’t do that. Frankly, playing poker ten hours a day for ten days straight isn’t something that sounds too appealing.

I’m going to try and make 50$/hr playing SNGs. I’m also gonna try that MTT SNG thing, but right now I’ve gotta get my bankroll on-track. I’ve not made much profit at all on this new account – I’m at 1% ROI – and therefore it’s time to start playing solely SNGs.

The plan is to play at least five hours of poker a day. I’m going to make a schedule for myself right now.

• 9AM – wake up


• Make breakfast, drink coffee, check out 2+2, update blog on last night’s happenings


• 10AM – go to the pool, go out biking


• 11AM – get back from biking/pool, clean up the house a bit and make lunch


• 12PM – sit down and play some POKAR!!


• 4PM – go to the pool for 30 minutes


• 4:30PM – Take a break, review some poker stuff, check out some websites, eat lunch


• Have fun and party. Do whatever.


• 10PM (or whenever I get back) – play some more POKAR!!

Rinse and repeat.

Right now it’s 1 am and I’ve gotta wake up in about five hours to take an exam, but I’m liking this plan. The roll is at 4200 after some gayness, and I’m going to have to spend another 70$ on Team Areola-related things. A lot of how my roll will look like will depend on this weekend, where I’ll probably get another 100 SNGs in. That’s 400$ profit at 15% ROI, which is very acceptable. Hopefully it’ll be at 4500 to start off my ‘career’ on the 23rd, my first day of work (I will take the 22nd off this schedule I have made up for myself because there’ll be a big party on the 21st probably).

I want to move up to the 60s as fast as possible, when I hit over 5000$. Until then, nothing doing. I don’t like moving down, so I’ll possibly even get to 5480 to have enough for an entire set. We’ll see. Still, I want to be at the 60s by July for sure, if not much sooner.
